Keeping up with all the new toys and fast growing kids is tough! Sometimes our little ones do not get to wear a piece of clothing more then once or twice, but they’ve out grown it. There are many children consignment shops close by but it’s hard to search through the racks of so many different sizes and items. I’ve gone to many consignment stores that just seem to pieces that have been “used” a little TOO much. Maybe i’m looking for that specific piece or a particular toy?

I often trade emails with friends that have children in my kids’ age groups and when we are done we can pass them along to another family who might need them. Here is Florida we don’t have extreme seasons like our neighbors to the North, so buying 4 seasons worth of clothing isn’t necessary. BUT we do get some chilly days in the winter months and if you are like me, i don’t always want to spend the money on a pair of pants my son will maybe wear a handful of times. I call my friends and see if their boys have any pants they’ve outgrown – KIDS RECYCLING!

So anything goes…. toys, clothing, baby furniture, strollers, bikes, ride-ons, even bigger kid toys like video games or board games, books, you name it… it can be recycled to other families.

If you are looking for something, post it and maybe trade it for something you are no longer using. If you have something to get rid of, post it and someone will surely take it off your hands.

The ability to connect with people with like interests, share stories and photos, setup meetings and group outings, organize parties and gatherings, spread news about things in your community or something happening in the world…the possibilities are endless and the opportunities plentiful. Technology is a wondrous thing, too big to almost comprehend but so advanced that to not make use of it’s abilites, is a waste.

I want to create a place where we can share stories, invite friends to join us for a day out ( with or without the kids ), check out a new place to eat, a new clothing store, toys, exercise class, coffee shop, book you just read… share it all and i will provide a safe, fun and knowledgeable website to host it!

The greatest part about social networking is that if each of us shared this with 5 friends, just 5… and they shared it with 5 friends and their 5 friends shared it with 5 friends and so on and so on… in no time we’d have over 30 members!  30 Moms to talk about what it’s like living in Palm Beach with kids and where to go and have fun, or best places to eat and the most rewarding… how to do all that and save!

So go ahead and share, because i guarantee that it will be great!
